Hello, my name is Kyle Rosenberg and I live in rockyhill, CT. I have been invested in the hobby for one and a half years now and have been a resident member of the Connecticut entomological society for a year so far. Although I consider myself to be a callow ant keeper (someone who keeps colonies with under a hundred workers), I have made many strides and I am very close to reaching my goals. This year, I decided to jump in to the social aspect of the hobby and open up a Face Book and Formiculture account, hoping to find others who live in CT and are willing to share knowledge and eventually meet up and work together to find queens and grow our colonies. I am also willing to trade with those who are within my state. Although I currently have my own struggles when growing my colonies, I bet we can work together to help each over. if you live nearby, please message me. I would love to talk :)

Well, you are in one of the two areas that have a lot of ant keepers in North America- North East. Then, there is he overwhelming population of Southwestern ant keepers here, such as myself. Welcome to the forum Kyle. :)

"Califormica" should seriously become a nickname for this forum...

You are not. I can bet my penny on that. I don't think a lot of ant keepers go online.
