Queen ID request - Bandung, Indonesia - 23/2/18

1. Location (on a map) of collection: city forest

2. Date of collection: 22 Feb 18. 8.00 am in the morning
3. Habitat of collection: forest, catch her on tree alredy lost her wing
4. Length (from head to gaster): around 11mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: dull black, long antena, long feet
6. Distinguishing characteristics: long antena, long feet, one petiole node, triangle head
7. Distinguishing behavior: fast movement, cotton puller
8. Nest description: NA 

9. Nuptial flight time and date:

1st - Some major — Worker

2st - Carebara queen — Giant queen

3st - Polyrhachis queen — Wingless queen

4th - Myrmicinae? Possibly Pheidole — Small queen

3st - Polyrhachis queen — Wingless queen

4th - Myrmicinae? Possibly Pheidole — Small queen  

polyrhachis Claustral or semi?

 

oh my 2nd queen is carabera? i thought its camponotus

 

the little one i though its solenopsis, alredy laying egg

Polyrhachis queens are semi-claustral ants and should be fed several times a week.

I have my doubts on my ID in regards to your smallest queen, a close-up picture might help though!

i hope i didn't catch polyrhacis queen that alredy laying egg T.T, thanks its only 1 day i will feed her
