I have just started heating these girls up with a heating cable.
Hopefully that'll speed things up.
So this colony has been doing really well as the queen has been laying a bunch of eggs. They have also been accepting lots of protein (superworms), but don't seem interested in honey.

There are about 3-5 tiny larvae. In total it took around 16 days for these eggs to hatch and I hope more will hatch soon!

Thanks! I've been curious to see how camponotus are in the mini hearths as I was considering getting some for my C. herculeanus and Formica fusca colonies but wasn't sure if they'd be big enough to fit more of them then the test tubes I use.
