Look near 9PM, when it’s relatively warm, and slightly humid.

Is Camponotus Vicinus flying cause they are all over the larger parks and frankly the only Camponotus species around that is any good.

Why did my dad used to let me go trick or treating with friends but won’t let me stay out past 8pm lol. I’m literally 16. My Camponotus dreams are intangible.

Lol, Camponotus flew yesterday, me, Sirjordan and YsTheAnt went anting. Sirjordan made a epic catch; a maritimus queen! YsTheAnt caught one clarithorax queen in his pool. I caught 20 more prenos and we lost a clarithorax queen in the process of catching.

Yeah, we need to convince Jadeninja9’s parents that he’s frickin’ sixteen, and he should come anting.

Take moms car+ keys
Make sure at 12pm they are asleep.
Drive at a safe 240miles to the location
Get bunch of ants
Act like nothing happened

Did your parents literally just drive you to Santa Cruz right after school?Caught 14 queens! 12x Myrmecocustus testaceus, 1x Pogonomyrmex subdentatus, 1x Dorymyrmex insanus. All of them were in founding chambers in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Oh, and the one Liometopum occidentale in the pool.

We have Monday off today. Ys, if we don’t catch more testaceus you have to trade or give me one......

You went to Santa Cruz what? Lucky. I went a while ago during the summer and found nothing in the mountains looked dead up there. It would be nice to find some cool species there all I have is a billion prenolepis queens

Ys, I would trade a Formica Moki colony and my soul for a myrmecocystus or harvester ant queen. Formica is the only decent species I have luck finding.
Pretty sure we all have next week off too, should all go anting if anything else is flying.

There was this Instagram post:
You think you’ve studied for math test well enough until a problem like this comes up:
If you throw a triangle out of a window, and wind resistance is a thing, how many cupcakes could Pedro buy with a human soul?
