Dang. I think I know the other place you’re talking about too.Lol I have three spots, one of them is so huge that 10 people could go and get queens, and it's closer to most people on this thread. The one I go to is way South so it's only convenient for me.

Same place where you went to get Pogonomyrmex . If anyone wants to know where message me and I'll give you the location, it's plenty big for many people just don't want to post it publicly.
Are the nests and workers obvious? I must be blind
Edit: the only other ants besides Pogonomyrmex I saw were huge Camponotus majors lol

Lol the nests are only active sunset and into the night. You won't know they exist till the sun sets and all of a sudden there are thousands of them everywhere.

Guys whoever is going around digging up nests please stop, couple of the locations I ant at were posted here and people attempted to dig up adult nests....Please for the sake of nature and ant keepers don't try to dig up mature nests...
