I caught a ton in March, but vicinus didn't really fly this year, along with V. andrei in the bay.

Maybe in the next couple of months, V. Andrei and C. Vicinus must be retarded cause I've gone to spots with them at least every week since May. They should be extremely easy to spot too since V. Andrei forage and dig chambers for two weeks after mating.

 yeah they haven't really flown. My one V. andrei queen has three workers now though :).

Camponotus recently flew, found some large males, but I have no idea what species they are. Possibly Quercicola. Going out at night this time of year would definitely guarantee finding some kind of camponotus alates.

They sent me the link for the sell tab: http://www.antscanad...-ants-for-sale/

I sent them an email regarding this and they said to update my list in the GAN portal using my credentials. I'm not sure if by portal they mean to fill in the Sell Your Ants tab again?

Really hot today! Reached a high of 93 where I was, and Aphaenogaster occidentalis flew (are flying) right now! If you see this early, you could probably go out to catch some. They also nest under rocks, so tomorrow could be a good time to look ant well.

Caught vicinus, have no idea where you guys are looking to find aphaenogaster. I thought they were supposed to fly months ago.

Dang, how do you guys even catch camponotus...

I found the aphaenogaster in front of a blacklight. They did fly months ago, but the colonies constantly produce more and more male alates, so I guess this was the ejection period of the leftover female alates and the males.

This wasn't an ejection. Aphaenogaster flies this time of year every year.

This wasn't an ejection. Aphaenogaster flies this time of year every year.

I don't believe they produce any more female alates over the summer though.

I'm not sure about how often they produce Queens but I do know that this is there a normal flight window and has always been at least to my knowledge.
