I'm having trouble feeding my pseudomyrmex gracilis colony. They've stopped eating roaches which is the only I've got currently(and no catching an insect isn't an option). They only ate off the legs of a baby cricket which i found at the front door of my house. I've also tried feeding them raw eggs with honey. And no they don't hibernate; it's Texas. Any tips on feeding them a food that I can prepare myself?

P. gracilis never hibernates, so nobody will question you for it :)
My old colony of P. gracilis would sometimes start fasting for no reason, and I found out that if you mix roach fat (the white stuff in their abdomens) or cricket fat with honey, you can make a good ant food that would take my old colony out of their fasting periods. I'm not sure if it would work with your colony, but it could. I haven't kept the species for two years (I had to get rid of them when I moved to CT)
