Hi!
I cracked open a log a few months ago and found a tiny little grub (sort of resembling a scarab grub). The only way that I could tell that it wasn't a scarab was its white head (rather than orange). Recently, I'm starting to think that this little grub is actually a wood wasp/wood sawfly. Since I can't find any good images of young larvae, I'll ask you guys. Do Wood Sawfly early instars curl up into a c-shape?
