Here is pinky. Today she stands accused of murder.
Here she is attempting to murder her sister.
This ant has proven, on multiple occasions that she is quite insane. In the wild it is live and let die but not in my captive colony.
What is to be her fate?

Is she fighting for dominance to be able to lay eggs as a gamergate, or is she mistakenly from another colony?
My understanding was that those duels didn't usually end up with an execution, but just more of an overthrow of power. Idk.

Here she is, in solitary confinement. Do not be fooled by her missing leg. She is a murderous creature, a monster with no conscience.

*Sentence her to death!* Just kidding. Any ant with a name even relative to "Pinky The Hate Ant" is just to amazing to kill.

The first photo looks like she's screaming "Let me go! Let me go! I have to kill that b****!!!"

I kind of agree with Terry, is there a chance that she was a forager from another colony?
Perhaps keep her separately and see if she can start her own colony?

Those suckers look mean. I like how you locked her up haha.
Did you collect her with a missing leg or did she lose it in one of her attempts at murder?

I can just imagine if she got loose. She would likely be trying to take a piece out of the jailor.

I'd have a semi automatic weapon on hand if I were keeping a colony of these girls, in case of a mass escape.

The reason she cannot be from another colony is because then multiple members of this colony would attack her. She is starting 1v1 conflicts with nest mates. Pinky has ambitions to be a queen obviously.

What species of ant was she?
#16 Offline - Posted December 15 2014 - 10:31 PM
She was a Myrmecia tarsata. She is now a stain.

Maybe her missing leg made her a bit aggressive. Painful memories
Nice looking ant that
