So I dropped my phone onto one of my test tube setups by accident and smashed it, and it had one of my tetramorium colonies in it. I quickly cleaned up the mess and transported the ants to a small container and came back a while later and fed them some honeg, only to find that some larvae were drowning in it. My question is if they will be alright, becaise this is my personal favorite colony and I really don't want them to die, I already lost 2 nanitics and about 3 or 4 pupae.
Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

As long as the queen survived and she has workers, they'll probably bounce back just fine.

Well that's quite a relief, I thought for sure that they would all die of stress...I managed to remove the larvae by draining out the honey by soaking it up with a wet cotton swab and that seemed to do the job.
