Hi Guys. just seeing where ppl are buying their test tubes? i want a variety of size but don't wanna pay 25 buck for 12 tubes. what size recommendations? or can you buy assorted packs? each species has their own size requirements and i don't want to commit to 50 tubes of 1 size. amazon and walmart are damn expensive in my opinion.

I buy plastic "glitter tubes" from Michaels and lil art storage containers from Hobby Lobby. Don't judge.

NOTE: Use these tubes for anything smaller than a Formica subseriscea queen.

I have used these, though they are prone to scuffing/microcracks which do not affect the function of the tubes. You can even drill out the center of the caps for semi-claustral species to use as an entrance while trapping some of the humidity in the the tube.

E-bay or you can buy those plastic plumber hoses that are transparent and cut them to make custom test tubes. 1 metre of tubing is around 60 cents where i`m from, plus you can chose the diameter and the length of tubes.
