i think this is  a good thing. more ants for you ^_^ except it will make more people dislike ants.

Newspaper, did not say. But genetic tests confirm that they originated in argentina.

Probably Solenopsis invicta then, and not Solenopsis geminata or another invasive Solenopsis sp...
