I am a computer science student, and will be finishing my program of study in the next six months or so. However, I have been appreciated nature from a very young age, and only recently started taking my hobby of being naturalist more seriously. I have never attempted a test tube setup before a few months ago, but I now have a Tetramorium queen well on her way to hatching her first brood.
I look forward to speaking with you cool people about myrmecology!

Welcome!!
Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
