I finally found a Ringneck Snake!
She was chilling under a rock in my front yard (I was searching for Lasius queens). When I picked her up, she "musked" me with a smell reminiscent of human feces (thus the temporary name "Stinker"). I'm planning on buying her a terrarium, but for now she's going to have to stay in a tupperware setup. Due to a lack of tupperware, she's actually living with my pet cricket. I hope that they'll get along for the time being. If they do, I might move the cricket into the snake's terrarium as well.
My Spring Peeper, Peeps, was caught several weeks ago. He's doing surprisingly well for a wild caught frog (he's been feasting on crickets and extra Lasius queens). I briefly considered letting Stinker live with him, but then I realized that Ringneck Snakes eat frogs as a main food source. I really dodged a bullet there xD
I'll update when I get the terrarium!
