I am looking for a Camponotus Pennsylanicus queen/colony. I was lucky to catch one in june, but it didn't make it.
I live in Northern NJ, and if possible I can pick it up this weekend if you don't live too far.

I recommend that you get Evan Thomas's Camponotus chromaiodes. In my experience, C. chromaiodes is much easier to keep than C. pennsylvanicus.
if i lived in NJ id give ya one but i don't, and personally nova are really easy
I think that all of the red-thoraxed species are quite easy to care for. Myrmentoma species are easy to keep as well.
