So we found this ant, has wings, is red, couldn't find it by looking up its details, if anyone has any information on species, king, or queen, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It might be the angle, but I don't think that's an ant.

I have gone against my usual rule of not looking at outside links. Shame on me. This is a wasp.

what about male velvet ants(wasps), they have wings and can't sting. They are also everywhere, pretty common.

This is too painful, try Ichneumonidae, maybe something along the lines of genus Trogus.
