Are there any truly polygynous species in NY? (not pleometropic)
There are many, many polygynous species in New York; some of the more common ones being Solenopsis molesta, Temnothorax spp., Prenolepis imparis, Formica pallidefulva, Monomorium spp., Tapinoma sessile, and many more.
