Honeypot Queen Gaster Dent? (Help!)

So I have a myrmecocystus mimicus queen and she's doing great. She had seven nanitics right off the bat, but now I've noticed her gaster is sometimes weird looking. Sometimes it looks slightly pointed right, and other times it's fine. Should I be concerned?

I had a thriving mimicus colony. Until some ill advised formicarium maintenance resulted in a dent in the Queen' gaster. She died 2 weeks later. I divided the brood between my remaining colonies. In an experiment, I divided the workers too. No aggression was observed.
