What ants are those?

Recently in the garden of my grandfather I saw some ants that looked pretty weird compared with the species that normaly live in the area.

They were red with the gaster black and 2 or 3 mm long aprox.

I thought they could be carpenter ants,but I did some research and here in Spain there arent any species of carpenter ants

Could be some sort of Lasius (small colonies tend to have much smaller workers than the regular size for this species) or a Temnothorax species. But without picture we can't even say if they're formicine or myrmicine ants.

I can try to get some images of them,but for now i did some research and they arent lasius or themnothorax ,they actually looked just like Canmponotus abdominalis floridanus,I'm confused qwp

Camponotus floridanus are way bigger than 3mm, even the smaller nanitics should measure 6-8mm.

These could be anything; from Crematogaster to a smaller Formica. Please include images if you wish to identify them.
