What do you guys think about using H2Oto clean and sanitize empty formicariums and test tubes? I unfortunately had some mold in one of mine and while I tried to remove what I can, I'm sure spores have been left behind. IIRC, H2Ois quickly broken down to water with prolonged exposure to sunlight.

I usually use hot water and soap to clean test tubes (honestly, I stick them in the dishwasher).

I clean walls of formicariums with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol, no issues.

Agreed. Hydrogen peroxide is acceptable and should not cause issues.

Rubbing alcohol should be ok as well too right? Since it will eventually vaporize?

Yes, it evaporates quite quickly with no issues.  Just like in the talc barrier.

Just don't give your ants a bath in it.  :D

I use alcohol to clean all sorts of ant stuff without a problem.
