I have about 7 workers and I think it is time to place the test tube into a small container, I have superworms ready for when my colony is big enough, but right now it's 7 workers I don't really think they can handle a full super worm yet, so I thought, would peanut butter work? I mean it does have protein, and it doesn't move so I thought it might be a good option, please let me know if it is. I have the sugar source covered, just a drop of honey.
P.S I do not have access to fruit flies.

I am not sure if they will eat peanut butter

You can use dead crickets too, it sounds like you have only tried superworms.

On joshs frogs, you can buy large fruit fly cultures for 7 bucks a piece.

Here's a topic you might look at.
I know you said "no insects", but regular meal worms can be refrigerated for months, and are far smaller. They might be a smarter choice. It may take quite a while before a colony is large enough to routinely consume a superworm.

Raw meat, fish, but don't give your small colony a whole t-bone steak. If you put in only tiny amounts there won't be any smell since the pieces will simply dry out after 1-2 days.

Tiny crickets, small spiders, fruit flies - all of them can be put in the freezer where they stay fresh for MONTHS.
Fish flakes also work for most ants as they are essentially compressed insects.
We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.

Dog/cat food, seeds, fruit, meats, poultry, cheese, or just go to the pet shop or order online livefood as a once of then breed it.
I'm currently testing waxworms for breeding, I wouldn't breed crickets, they smell awful. If all goes well with the waxworms my next test will be fruit flies.
