I recently caught 2 Pheidole cf. constipata queens and was wondering how to actually care for them. I started out thinking that my Pheidole queens would lay in a matter of hours or a couple of days. It took a week for my queen to actually produce 15 or so eggs. I checked on her once, then the next day she ate a few of her eggs, so I'm thinking she's sensitive to light. So I don't really have a lot of knowledge on Pheidole care. I did some skimming and can't really find any articles talking about care. So if any of you have raised Pheidole in the past or currently raising them; has knowledge of the species in advance. I would like to know some observations, or any other general things a newbie should know to raise and own a successful Pheidole colony. Thanks in advance.
