So I recently caught 2 Solenopsis Molesta queens and have been keeping them in the same test tube set-up for about a week. One of them has turned a darker brown while the other has remained the amber/orange color. I'm wondering if the darker queen is stressed and that is why she has darkened up or if there is somthing else I'm missing. I have not noticed them fighting at all and there is only one pile of brood. So all other indications are that they are doing fine. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or if I should just let them be. Cheers!
