So, I am brand new to this hobby so go easy on me. I am finding many of these dead in my pool, but a few are alive. Unfortunately the best picture I could get is of a dead one.

I'm thinking that this queen may be some sort of Solenopsis or Brachymyrmex.

I've got her in a test tube set up, is that appropriate?
