Been watching the radar the past few days and took tons of screenshots. Looks like everything from Joshua Tree and eastward into the border has been drenched with heavy rain.

 

Going to head out tonight and may stay more than one night. Not sure where I want to go yet, but everything looks prime for all kinds of flights.

Got back this morning, haven't slept much. Exhausted but found lots of species. Will update later with pics.

 

Found Pheidole, Crematogaster, M. navajo, M. mexicanus, M. yuma, A. versicolor, C. semitestaceus, and C. fragilis among many others.

 

Met up with Drew and Soulsynapse on the last day.

It seems like if I want to catch many others species of ants I need to drive far right?
