I found this queen ant at 2:00 AM
It has a shade of red, but barely, with a large gaster
I found it on 6/25/17 (US Calendar)
Its jaws are very visible, so i think it could be either Solenopsis, Camponotus, or Pheidole
It was found in California
I was in a rush, so I wasn't able to get any proper lengths, but it is a very large queen ant, around the size of a Lasius Niger Queen, but larger
I only have these photos, since I was going on vacation, so I was in a bit of a rush
Since I can't give you any more pictures, (i will be away for quite a while, so I won't be able to get anymore anytime soon), you can just give me your ideas of what species you think it could be.
I personally think that it could be a Solenopsis, since I have found a few of those around my area
THANK YOU!
