Today is a proud day for me. I have my first nanitic from a camponotus noveboracensis queen. Took only five weeks! Being my first ever nanitic to observe, I have a few questions. Firstly, it seemed almost gimpy (this morning) and even now several hours later, although a bit more mobile. i wasn't expecting it to be so still. Perhaps it's just giving its exoskeleton a chance to strengthen. Normal do you think? The nanitic is being being stepped on a bit here and there but i guess that's normal for ants. It's close quarters in there.
Sincerely,
Canadant
