I have a cremogaster colony that has six workers. They have not had any more in the last two weeks. There are eggs and larvae. Am I not feeding them enough? ( or am I impatient XD )?

Probably both.

They're getting insect protein and sugary liquid, right? They are probably fine. You won't see any new workers until after some pupae appear.

If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.

Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

These ends tend to take a good amount of time to develop and especially in the beginning. The best bet is to give them half a mealworm or some and see if they take it. If they do try doing that every other day. As long as they don't start storing it in their setup.

Crematogaster queens might reproduce in "batches" like camponotus.

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.

This is true. My Large Crematogaster colonies will almost empty the nest of brood before the queens drops new mounds of eggs. It was weird, and sometimes happened in the worse of timing. I havent had my colonies long enough to correlate their batches to a date or time of year.
