Can anyone tell me if this is a queen ant? My gut instinct says it's not because of the huge head! LoL

Lynnwood, Washington in the county, in a bucket of standing water.

This isn't a queen ant; it isn't even an ant for that matter. I think it may be a Pemphredon sp. wasp. Please post clearer images from several different angles and preferably with better lighting if you would still like to identify this insect.

Awesome thanks! I thought it was some kind of wasp but my illogical side wanted it to be a cool queen ant so I had to ask to hear what my logical side already knew.

I was mostly sure that it wasn't an ant: I let her/him go as soon as I got the pictures... It sure is cute though!
