Well is there a species of fire ant that can't climb glass because I'm not to familiar with genus names

Fire ants belong to the genus Solenopsis, and I do think the majority of species can climb glass. There are probably a few species that can't, but most common ones you will find definitely can.

U also have Myrmica spp. Like the european fire ant Myrmica rubra. They also are very good climbers

Byformica Fluon is really good. It comes with an applicator wand and two wide sponge bottles. Pricey, $35, but worth it. Also it is useless on nurbs Pencil case Formicariums, because large Camponotus and other species step right over the barrier. Remember to use it on BoxBox containers or anything with about an inch or more tall walls.
