Question. Before I upload this. When it says no allteration is allowed. Does that mean I can't blank personal info out?

I deleted it. Ill reupload it when someone asks. I don't like the idea of keeping a document like this on the web so open. Even though my personal info is blurried.

Looks like your application was very specific, and the reviewer didn't see any potential for harm given the listed species. In this case, it's not unheard of to see a permit granted. Generally speaking, the more broad an application, or applications for exotic or invasive species, the more likely APHIS will scrutinize and require special conditions be met, such as a containment facility, before approval.

That said, if the application was filed by, or the permit issued to a minor, that may possibly void the legality of it.

If anything, the mindset of trying something even when the chances of you succeeding are slim, is a great mentality to have in life. It is by this mentality that many people have become successful.

You could get a permit from APHIS. You'll have to plan your path, know exact travel dates, etc.

You will likely need to know exactly where you will be keeping them, a description of your escape prevention, and the building floorplans.

They will likely want to ask additional questions as well as inspect the location in Colorado that you plan to keep them.

Be prepared to wait 3 months before you hear back at all. You'll either get flat out denied or a link to a series of pre-inspection questions.
