Interesting. Yet they are taking them now. I do recall Crystals telling me that they referred Green 600 the most.
Weird. To me, so far, it looks like they are eating blue 100 for themselves and giving larvae Aqua 300.

If you're feeding different colors, it will be virtually impossible to tell which is being fed. Really, all colony intake is shared among nestmates, reshared, and distributed fairly evenly among larvae via trophylaxis.
Social sharing is what makes poison ant baits so effective at destroying entire colonies.

Sorry, I still have the formulas mixed up.
Well, nevertheless, it's good that they are eating. I don't have to hunt down bees anymore. You should make Aqua 300 red / orange and make Green 600 yellow.
I think he is making more formulas in the future, I would love to see rainbow larvae!!!
All you have to do is remember they're on a spectrum with 100 being highest in protein, and 600 having no protein at all. 300 falls somewhere in the middle, so it has roughly double the carbs of 100, but still some protein.
The unused numbers denote future product formulations that may be specific to one or a few species of ants, including using different ingredients such as insect protein of some kind.
The reason Blue and Green are used is because they're not found in ant foods or ant colors in nature, so they stand out the strongest. I'll consider adding other colors for new products in the future. Thanks for the feedback.

Too many colors mixing and you'll likely just have brown/black larvae ;~)
I would love to see rainbow larvae!!!
That gives me an idea, and if anyone steals it I will be sad.

You gave yourself an idea?! How cryptic.
I know.
They don't forage a lot during day. That's why. 2 foragers max during day. They go kind of sleepy-sleepy during day. At night, it's a different story.
I think their hibernation time has come near. Their activity level has dropped substantially. I see no foragers during day and only 2 foragers at night. They are still eating the stuff however.
I am going to put them in hibernation in a week or two if their activity level drops further.
cool, can't wait to try out my formula 300 and 600!!! i have only tried 100
