Hey guys, I have two ants that could use ID's.
Ants to be ided: https://imgur.com/gallery/88vQD
Queen A:
Was found this morning by my garage door at around 8am. She is around 8mm long (medium sized) and almost ompletely black from what I can see. I don't know what kind of behavior she might have either. I think she is a Tetramorium sp., but I'm not sure
The second species:
I found this small colony in a log while they were moving out of there current nest yesterday afternoon. These guys are extremely agressive and will bite and sting anything that gets near them. In the picture that look brownish, but they have a red tint to them. I couldn't get a picture of the queen sadly.
Let me know what you guys think and if you want/need another picture let me know.

The first is Tetramorium, and the second is an Aphaenogaster Sp.

Colony seems to be aphaenogaster fulva
Just a little boy that likes ants. I try my best to be mature and competent.
My Colonies
Camponotus floridanus
Crematogaster pinicola

Aphaenogaster are tricky to ID. I don't think these photos are good enough for the species level.
If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.
Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.
