I just use splatter screens which are normally used for cooking.  They can be found at most grocery and dollar stores.

Amazon/ebay, just type in "fine stainless steel mesh" there's several grades and idr what the right one is off the top of my head but they're usually shown compared to a coin so you can get an idea of how fine the weave is
