1. Location (on a map) of collection: Nicosia Cyprus

2. Date of collection: 26/10/17
3. Habitat of collection: Outdoor Football field
4. Length (from head to gaster): 15-19mm. 
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black, several  stripes designs on gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: don't know
7. Distinguishing behavior:  don't know
8. Nest description:  don't know

Camponotus sp. now way of telling its fertile or not until she gets a worker.

Maybe. That happens a lot with queens.

I find that in every twenty queens I keep, one has her wings on when egg laying. Some of my Solenopsis invicta queens have kept wings on so long that they already have workers. Don't lose faith in her!
