1. Location (on a map) of collection: Los Angeles Lincoln heights area
2. Date of collection: 6/25/17
3. Habitat of collection: Found it in my backyard which is half dirt half grass
4. Length (from head to gaster): 5-6 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Dark brown | Black | Shiny Black
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Has a large thorax. It looks like it has a small head because of it's large thorax. Bottom half legs, antennas, and mandibles are a light brown color.

Sorry for blurriness. This is the best I can do for close ups.
