these are really easy to care for btw, so if you want to care for a mantis the nymphs only need fruit flies until the second molt, then you can feed them small crickets and fruit flies. 


watching them hunt is rather entertaining

I know how to care for them. (y) Yeah, these are pretty easy to care for though.

Mantids are very nice pets. They only live a year, but your can train them to do tricks! They allow handling, too. You can some at MantisKingdom, BugsinCyberspace, Mantisshop, ect.


Species I keep:

 

1 Lasius cf. Neoniger 30 workers

1 Camponotus sp. 15 workers

20 Tetramorium SpE 30 workers

1 T. Sessile 200 workers

Popa Spurca can live 15 months i here. (African Twig Mantis)
