I've been hunting for a long time for a queen in southern Florida. (mostly for Camponotus) but eh, I'll settle for the tiny Ghost ants for now.

I put the queen in a test tube setup but know I'm not sure what I should do. Do I feed them or let them be?

And if anyone in Florida caught a Camponotus queen ill be happy to pay for just the queen ;)

leave her be

BUT if you really impatient and ghost ants are the dominant species, then go get a couple of workers to jump-start the colony
