1. Location of Collection: Dried out, poor quality soil a few feet from my house's foundation.

2. Date of Collection: 6/17/17

3. Habitat: Suburban

4: Size: 1/8" long (~3mm)

5. Coloration: Reddish-Brown

6. I see one petiole, though it's hard to tell.

7. Nope.

8. N/A

My guess is some kind of Monomorium?

 

ED: I'm starting to guess a worker Hypoponera opacior?

Yes, Ponera or Hypoponera I don't really know how to distinguish them.
