Is this an ant queen ? i got two of them and already have some eggs both of them

 

 

1. Location (on a map) of collection: Nicosia Cyprus

2. Date of collection: 06/10/17
3. Habitat of collection: Home Balcony - Inside Home!!!
4. Length (from head to gaster): 7-8mm. 
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black, several brown stripes designs on gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: don't know
7. Distinguishing behavior:  don't know
8. Nest description:  don't know

Definitely a queen - not too sure on species, though - possibly C. Nearcticus.

It doesn't look at all like Camponotus to me.

Yeah, especially looking at it from the top/down view I don't think it is either.

Looks to be a Nylanderia of some sort.

T. sessile is tiny, and queens are not much bigger than workers. This collection was also made on Cyprus, and T. sessile is a North American species.

For me is look like a  Plagiolepis ampeloni queen ... but not sure

Tapinoma, Lepisiota, Nylanderia or unlikely Lasius something in one of those genera. Not Plagiolepis as they are much smaller.

I can't really see from the pictures but I will go whit Lepisiota or Nylanderia. Maybe the same species as this flight?: http://www.formicult...52017/?hl=crete

Most queens are  fully claustral, but I'd try going onto ant maps to see what some of the native species of the genera people here suggested look like. If she is fully claustral, don't offer them food until about four days after the first worker arrives.
