4. Length: 8mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: all of the body is orange with the top beeing slightly darker, the first segment on the gaster is velvet-like, bald, shiny
6. Distinguishing characteristics: one petiole node, no spines or bumps, too small to tell the number of antennal segments

It looks a lot like pheidole pallidula to me but idk that's why i asked you

Not Pheidole as the postpetiole is absent.

Are you sure? Because if you are it's a waste of a test tube. I don't have a Lasius sp. colony to give her to. Also would Lasius neoniger work. They fly here at the end of the summe. Also can i give her to a really small colony of just a few workers? Thanks.

I thinks it's Lasius umbratus which is a social parasite.

Yes I'm sure. They are hard to raise so I suggest you let her go also non parasitic Lasius flights should be starting in the end of June or next month.
