My Camponotus Pennsylvanicus aren't drinking the honey water I gave them or eating the cricket. What do I do?

With only 4 workers they won't be eating much. As for Protein try giving them a smaller part of the cricket, a whole one [even if it's dead] can be pretty intimidating to a new batch of workers.

With the honey water just give them some and clean up what they don't consume. You definitely won't need to feed them every day, I'd say every 3-5 days.

Fruit flies or mealworm slices are good foods for such a you colony. A cricket is way too huge.

They will mostly feed at night but the amounts of sugar water they consume are so small that you can't really tell. Big gasters though may be a hint though.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.

Small crickets work well for colonies with less than 10 workers. Decapitate. Rip off legs.

Small bits of moist chicken and wingless fruit flies do well too.
