Is this a queen? I'm pretty sure she's a Pseudomyrmex Gracilis.
1. Location of collection: Public park on the side of a vehicle.
2. Date of collection: Unknown date last month.
3. Habitat of collection: A semi-tropical wooded area.
4. Length (from head to gaster): I don't have a ruler, but I included a match stick for size comparison.
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Orange with black markings.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Small yellow hairs on gaster, sort of matte colors. At the time of capture, she had one wing left on her which later fell off inside of her tube setup. She does appear to have wing scars.
7. Distinguishing behavior: Very very responsive to everything. She behaves closely to a wasp with quick and jerky movements.
8. Nest description: I didn't find her near a nest.
