1. Location of collection: Rosedale/Baltimore Maryland, crawling on the siding of my house
2. Date of collection: 05/29/17
3. Habitat of collection: Siding of house, close to a small forest and lawn.
4. Length (from head to gaster):9mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: I am partially colorblind, the pictures below may help. I am seeing black and red?/brown?
6. Distinguishing characteristics: N/A
7. Distinguishing behavior: not great at crawling upside-down
8. Nest description: N/A

That is most likely a Camponotus queen from the subgenus Myrmentoma.

Probably Camponotus caryae. However Camponotus nearticus is another possibility

That is what i was guessing, she's 9mm so I figured nearcticus. Some people were saying possibly parasitic Lasius.
