They are either solenopsis xyloni or else Pogonomyrmex. Californiaus bicolor? I'm not sure, same color scheme, two types, minor and majors. These are in my school. I will try to get a good picture.

Pogonomyrmex californicus, as with all the Pogonomyrmex species in the US, save from one, are monomorphic; workers are of the same size.

If there are different sizes, then it is Solenopsis xyloni, Bicolor Pogonomyrmex californicus is not found where your school is located. Without a doubt it is Solenopsis xyloni.
