Hi!
I've noticed that my slightly hyper Ochetellus worker was carrying a callow. I thought "how cute" but then I saw that the callow was carrying a larva. It doesn't get any more confusing than when you see an ant carrying an ant carrying an ant.

Wait, the larva was stuck on the callow. Never mind.

A callow is a newly born worker!

The Ochetellus got more confusing.

The workers tunneled into the tissue (its the ochetellus cotton substitute for me). They then proceeded to move every larva and pupa into the chambers in the tissue. They then tried to get the queens in, but the queens got stuck. The workers then evacuated the little tunnel, moved back out, and stuffed every dead bug I feed them into that hole.
