My first colony

Just wanted to show my first colony ever. I captured them last year in October, they are called Camponotus Rufipes.

I just caught my first Camponotus queens this year so this is awesome to watch! Also, the lighting makes them look almost blue-ish and orange. So beautiful!

Camponotus pennsylvanicus (5 founding queens)

Reticulitermes flavipes (3 pairs, subterranean termite)
