I can now authoritatively say the ants will be up for sale within one to one and a half weeks.

Once they get workers, Camponotus subbarbatus and Nylanderia sp. will be up for sale.

Very soon, I will be selling colonies of ants from Westfield, Indiana. I am creating this topic preemptively for this eventuality.

As of now, there will only be Tapinoma sessile immediately up for adoption.

I think I have that queen too! I just found four today, i'm not positive though because I am new to this. Can you post pictures of your queen?

I haven't really taken pictures yet (It's hard to in their current nest), but I can tell you that if it has an acidopore (It resembles a stinger, but is just a few hairs that direct formic acid), it's Nylanderia.

I just sent in the form to become a GAN farmer. Hopefully, I will have the ants for sale in a couple days.

I believe I got an email of acceptance two days ago, yet my ants remain unlisted. How strange.

Give them a little time. I am sure they push all updates to the webpage at the same time on a preset day and time to avoid webpage down time.

I just got accepted as a "GAN Farmer" this morning. The two colonies I'm selling are Tapinoma sessile and a member of the Stennama genus. There is a typo on the site that says I have ten colonies of T. sessile available, but this isn't true. I only have one at the moment.

Updated. I'm wanting to get these sold by this Wednesday as I'll be gone for two weeks after that date. I've already got one person interested in them, any others?

The Tapinoma sessile are going to be off sale until I locate their queen. Because of the way I captured the colony (and seeming disappearance of any colony member that could  be a queen), they probably won't be available for a while.

Unfortunatley, the Stennama died. :( I'll have to post more once the queens get workers.

I am looking for a colony with a queen in Indiana. I have been keeping workers for a while and I am looking to start a colony. Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately, I do not have any queens/colonies available at the moment. However, I would be willing to give you advice as to where to locate these. Did you just keep the "Uncle Milton" worker ants? Or some you caught yourself?

No colonies with workers are available at the moment, but I expect within the next month to some available. I apologize for a long hiatus in the sales.
