Hi all,
So I am a huge lover of praying mantids(actually my first insect pet 
). I have always wanted to try and breed them and I now have a male and female ghost mantis that are both viable. I researched a ton before I got these guys, so I am basically prepared, but things have not been going to plan... 
The male continually tried to run away from her and he is a nonstop flying machine(I tried mating them in the dark and all I heard was a loud buzz and felt something grab my leg). So I have been trying everyday for 3 days, but maybe he's under stress or something? I don't know, this is my first time trying this and I heard that all you need to do is to place the female and male together, which hasn't really worked. If anybody has experience breeding these guys, PLEASE HELP ME! I am so desperate to try and breed them, it is one of the challenges/goals that I have set for myself as a manticulturist...
