That sucks man.
Damn ants just didn't care for it...
I will temporarily discontinue this, just until I can get more fungus. The next time this is updated is either when I get more fungus, or when queens start dying.
Is your best bet to wait till next years nuptial flights?

Probably, I am planning to camp out there, leaving on the day that a thunderstorm seems to be leaving, hopefully I can catch them flying like Drew did, and maybe catch a few other species, like Pheidole and Camponotus fragilis, and Dorymyrmex bicolor. I already came to accept the fact these were done for, because originally, getting fungus from Drew was just talk, so I thought they were done for such a longer time ago, I am glad I had this opportunity to see them with fungus in person, and if I can't get more fungus, maybe next year.
A queen died today. Three more to go.
Yeah, but I may be getting more.
Keep the queens alive.
Another queen died today, two more.
It seems that fungus is essential.
Really? What do you think the fuss is about?
the fungus.
Exactly.
Alright, now I'm confused on the question which i have just responded to...
The problem is that they do not have the fungus.
Do you plan on getting that to them as soon as its available ? in this kind of dire situation i don't think you can afford to wait any longer.
No I cannot, I am getting a care package from Drew.
